When u want to pair your bluetooth phone the first time, you must do this in the first 30 seconds after ingnition. This is the only period your audi bluetooth carkit is in search mode. Follow these steps to make it work:

Put your bluetooth phone in search mode, then start your car. Your phone will now detect something like AUDI UHV-1 or similar. Connect to this device, and enter either code 1234 or else code 0000. Your phone will then connect. Command your phone to keep the Audi device listed as a save connection, which can automatically connect.
