Yep you need to have the transmission rebuilt sounds like the bands and the clutches have worn out mine went bad on my 1998 ram at around 175000 miles. My cost for the rebuild was 1800 dollars .Good luck.

Could be the oil sensor located on the engine block if you no where it is look to make sure the connection is still tight they could have messed with it and its lose just make sure its got a good connection.

Check pinion gear bearing clearance in differential.

Did you check the universal joints. Then try a transmission shop if you think it's the trany. Should not be shifting into 3rd at 20 mph for one thing

Hi. Could be a bent drive shaft or a bad wheel. Check shaft and wheels for damage. Check wheel lug nuts for loose the same with shaft. If all is good and still vibration there , Have a mechanic check it out. There could be a long list of things that could be wrong. A poorly running engine also can vibrate badly. Good luck.
