bad cell inside battery,so it won;t hold the charge,if battery checked OK,it might be a bad bridge (three diode inside alternator,change AC to DC) in your alternator

i would have thought the work would take between 30 and 60 minutes max, if your refering to the temp/pressure unit ,so get the repair shop you choose to give you their hourly charge ,most repairers would give a precise quote for this sort of job so best to contact them direct

there is a 175 amp mega fuse located on the passenger side of the cowl (upper firewall area) Check this fuse, you will likely find it blown. Should be near arrow 2 in the picture below. It looks like this:

Did you put at least 3 gallons in?

In fuse block under hood, swap AC relay with fuel pump relay and check

Still try a new fuse in it because it still could be faulty.

Have you replaced that injector ?

check fluid level and condition (burnt smell or not red color) checkfor transmission codes sounds like internal issue

reset the CPU program after the battery change out. Use a code reader for this process as the program is corrupted

If it's a diesel, the electric fuel shut off solenoid on the pump is stuck or not working, replace the solenoid. Hope that helps

it will show in the fault codes . It uses the same sensors as the ABS

All the dealerships have a TSB concerning this very problem. It concerns a possible loose connection at the 175 amp mega fuse located near the passenger side cowl. looks like:

LIMP IN MODE re-set your pcm if it re-occurs you may have a transmission slippage issue or a faulty shift selonoid in transmission. with stabilty control feature on some models a bad wheel speed sensor or hub bearing can cause the same but usually accompanied with ABS light

Were is the radio ground wire located on my 05 avalanche? Radio goes in and out all the time.

your timing belt may have jumped two teeth .when did you last do the timing belt

Sound like to me it is TPS Switch( Throttle Possitioner Switch). Or Fuel Pump Relay? Either will cause this to happen due to signals picked up by ECM and PCM. Hope this helps you out?
