Yup for an 2008 car there have to be an alarm instal. To check if alrm works lock your car after 5 minutes try braking into it with out the key. Not brake it but use a Cortez hanger or metal piece to open it. Witch is not really worth all that. Just remove value things out the car and cover what can't be taken out. Or by an alarm And install it from eBay or best buy. I wouldn't count on alarm to protect vehicle. Cause an expert thef will shut it off in seconds. They don't have to bypass the alarm to get into it. They brake the window 5 seconds clean out the car and disappear. Police will show up 4-5 munites sometime 1hr after depending on your location. So dong leave valuable things in the car. Open the glove box so they won't think there's something inside there.

Sounds like the ASR Relay is blown. This is a relay that trips when the car detects an issue and will blow to prevent further damage. This relay is a black box under the hood. Check manual for ASR numbered location. It happened to my dodge neon once and sure enough I had a short in a wire and tripped the ASR. Hope this helps.

That's unusual for a car that new. Can you get the door panel off. If so pull back the plastic seal and lightly tap on the motor for the window. I did this recently and the window has worked fine for months.
door panels can be tricky. Usually there is a screw around the inside door handly and 2 screws attaching the arm rest or wherever you grab to pull the door shut. sometimes there are screws elsewhere so look it over good and take your time and dont force it. once screws are out there are clips that snap in and out so it basically pulls off the car door. these are around the perimeter of the door panel. Open your trunk and look on the underside of the "rear dash" towards the center. You either can replaces bulb by twisting the pigtail going to the light or you may have to unscrew a couple of bolts to remove the brake light housing. Hope this helps.

There is a relay it's located in the fuse panel and yes there is a fuse read your owners manual or open the cover to the fuse panel inside the car and also there is a fuse box under the hood in the engine compartment and inside that lid it has a layout of the fuses and what they are.

There is 1 ecm(electronic control module), 1 tcm(transmission control module), and a few other control units. The ecm is in the engine bay.
