How do you replace the front grill on the 2008
IF YOU LOOK BEHIND THE GRILLE, THERE SHOULD BE SOME BOLTS, OR SCREWS HOLDING IT ON! TAKE THOSE OUT, AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO REMOVE THE OLD GRILLE! THEN PUT THE NEW ONE IN, AND REBOLT IT!
How to get ignition live wire from ignition
Take off the steering wheel shrouds , identify with a voltmeter the wire coming from the key switch that gets powered only when the key is put on engine run position ,splice it , connect your wire to it and insulate it properly. Or you could take out the fuse box and, at the rear, check every open contact pin for one that gets activated in the same conditions and connect your cable to it - but this is a very complicated job and you will need a special connector.

How do I change brake light bulb of Nissan Sentra 2008
Was able to complete this job successfully:
It's a little tricky to do without pictures, but I don't have any available right now.
- Access the trunk
- Remove the material covering the light. You'll need to remove the black pegs by lifting the centre part. A flathead screw-driver will help. There are 2 to remove -- one directly behind the brake light and another at the top of the trunk.
- Pull back the material to expose the brake light wiring and the metal frame of the car.
- There are 2 nuts / screws to remove near the entrance of the trunk. Both are about 4 inches apart and hold the tail light's cover in place. Remove both.
- Using a bit of force, you will be able to pull off the entire tail light from the frame of the car. This is done on the exterior of the car.
- Rotate the problematic light from it's housing (it should come off with ease) and pull it out of the socket. Brake light and indicator are a 3057K bulb.
Flashing red light on dash
The flashing red light means your security system is working. It is nothing to worry about.
Most cars now have flashy lights to deter thieves.
Dealer said i need a new engine because of a
It is doubtful that your engine needs to be replaced. Pistons don't fire, the spark plug that screws into the cylinder is what fires. Sludge may well be building up in your engine but I seriously doubt there could be that much sludge as to stall your engine at a toll booth...especially on a 2008...as long as you have done regular oil changes on the car.
Don't go back to that dealer, they're trying to rip you off. Take your car to a reputable mechanic and have them look at it. Don't tell them what the dealer told you...only tell them the check engine light is on. They will check the codes your car is throwing and then determine what is needed.
I repeat, DO NOT GO BACK TO THAT DEALER.
I took my 2008 sentra
we have seen few of these our selves. that only happens, when you dont do ol changes reguraly every 3500 miles with conventional oil or 7500 miles with full synthetic oil. if the want to put an engine into it, i would say doit as long as they do it under warantee, but something tells me that they may not, because you dont have any records as far as oil changes. that makes it tougher for them to replace it under factory warantee. your sentra has 5years or 60k miles warantee on engine and trans which ever comes first.
