You usually can find a part like that at your local salvage yards probably for little of no money or you could always just use your cargo space in the back of the truck.

2006 Nissan Pathfinder - VDC

I would be suspect of what a dealer tells you

If your bold enough to walk into the dealer service
bay from outside and talk to the tech that worked on
it,that would be where to start.

The VDC etc should be diagnosed with the proper
test equipment,scan tool etc.

I would talk to the tech, then go to a local repair
shop and spend some time explaining all the
issues,& make it clear your there only to work on
the Braking Electronics,no other checks or service
of any kind.

INTERMITTENT BATTERY DRAINS ARE HARD TO FIND. TURN OFF ALL SWITCHES IN THE VEHICLE. MAKE SURE THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT LITE IS GOING OUT. OPEN THE HOOD. CLOSE ALL THE DOORS. MAKE SURE ALL OF THE COURTESY LITES ARE GOING OFF. DISABLE ANY UNDER THE HOOD LIGHTS. REMOVE THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. USE A 12 VOLT TEST LIGHT, FASTEN ONE END TO A GOOD GROUND, { METAL PART OF THE MOTOR} . FASTEN THE OTHER END TO THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY. IF THE TEST LIGHT LIGHTS UP THERE IS A BATTERY DRAIN. IF NO LIGHT , NO DRAIN. IF THE LIGHT IS ON LOOK IN THE FUSE/RELAY BOX NEAR THE BATTERY. PULLOUT THE FUSES, LARGE & SMALL ONE AT A TIME, IF THE LIGHT STAYS ON PUT THE FUSE BACK IN TRY THE NEXT FUSE. WHEN THE LIGHT GOES OUT, THAT IS THE CIRCUIT CAUSING THE DRAIN. IF IT NEVER GOES OUT, DISCONNECT THE ALTERNATOR. IF THAT MAKES THE LIGHT GO OUT, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE ALTERNATOR. IF THE LIGHT IS NEVER ON, YOU MAY HAVE TO DO THIS ANOTHER DAY TO FIND THE DRAIN. ALSO HAVE THE NEW BATTERY RECHECKED.

2008 Pathfinder LE clock runs fast

No solution yet... mine keeps running slow - supposedly there is a disc that the dealer can put into the CD player to fix some clock problems, otherwise you have to take out the whole unit & replace it, is what I'm told - people on the phone keep ducking the question & directing me to a dealer 500 miles away.

Can not move my gear

Hello M_gojkovic.

The shift interlock solenoid is activated to release by the application of the brake.
Check to make sure your brake lights are working, if not, check the fuse.
If the fuse is blown you will need to find where it is shorting the circuit.
If the fuse is OK then you will need to trace the wire from the brake switch to the solenoid to find the open circuit.
It is also possible to have a defective solenoid.
