96 Nissan Maxima having problems with automatic
sometimes stuff falls down into the cracks where the lever is, so try that. but there is, inside of the console that the lever is on, a cable that wraps around a little plastic roller, and it has gears on it that make it click into Park, or Reverse, or 1,2, OD, whatever. sometimes if those get worn out, the little plastic part will get stuck into park, because it is supposed to lock into park, and you have safety switches in there too so that you cant shift from park without pressing on the brake. so check and see if it is the cable, the check the plastic part, i think it should be green.
Looking for a part for my nissan maxima 2008
This Body control module (known as a BCM) was 1st used on the 2007 Maxima, as far as programming it for your car only the dealer has the special programming equipment (nissan scanner and sofware) to do this job, as to the part it has only been used since Sept of 2007, so no aftermarket re-builders have it yet, (rebuilt modules is all that is avil for any car in the aftermarket) I have a huge collection of web sites for these kinds of parts (cdontrol modules) and there are no rebuilt BCM's aviliable for your car as of yet, it is to new, the lowest price I could find was $265.58 at this link, I don't recommend using a used part.

Foglightbulbs replacing
the bulb is 10 bucks(bought at dealer). open the hood. in the back of the head light you can feel a twist off knob. twist it off then when off you have to twist off a metal braket the holds the bulb. take it off then remove the bulb. put the new nulb back on and it should work. not too hard to doo.
1995 3.0 engine. Where is the crankshaft (position) sensor?
In the 1995 Nissan X-Trail with a 3.0-liter engine, the crankshaft position sensor is typically located on the engine block. However, it's important to note that the 1995 X-Trail model was not available with a 3.0-liter engine. It's possible that you may be referring to a different Nissan model or engine.
To provide you with accurate information, please specify the correct Nissan model and engine.
