2008 Nissan Maxima - Page 3 Questions & Answers
I just had new tires
the light should go out in few miles. make sure that you have 36psi of pressure in all 4 tires. if you don't, add air to 36 psi and drive the car. If you do have 36psi s in all 4 tires, tahn the place that put your tires on may have broke the sensor. start with checking air pressure and making sure that you have 36psi in all 4 tires.
I have TPMS on 2009
just get a tire pressure gauge and check it they are usually going off in cold weather like this. on the drivers side door it will tell you what pressure you need.
also if the light is blinkin when you start your car then goes solid you have a tpms sensor issue that needs to be addressed by a dealer because it lost connection.
My battery went dead and
is the battery still dead or did you replace it with a new one. if you are counting on the alternator to charge the battery that is bad it may not have enough power to control the solinoids on the transmission.
Entered my '08 Maxima with sensor in my handbag
yes could be that your steering wheel was locked or that the battery was going dead in the key fob(this is very common trial and error) . if it happens again while trying to turn the ignition push the wheel back and forth left to right because the steering column is locked for theft deterent.
When it is cold outside my key less entry does not
though the light is green for a good battery possibly change the battery that is what mine was doing when it was almost dead!
Also is there any snow on the ground? the sensor for the intelligent key is located on the bottom of the car and if it were to get caked up with debris or mudd the signal can easily be blocked out. but i bet you battery is the problem
Key won't turn - key light is green
Steering is in a bind were wireless key cannot activate. Move steering wheel to the left and right while trying to start. I had the same problem and this is what the Nissan dealership told me to do. I't worked like a dream.
Hopped this helped
TPMS light wont go out
did you check and air up all the tires to the recommended pressure on the decal on the drivers door. I would add 3 psi to that spec...cold.
