Whats a common fix for cylinder # 7 misfire on a 2007 ford e250 4.6L

Pull the coil from the plug, Remove the spark plug and inspect for any moisture in the plug hole. If you see a black line down the side of the plug. Called carbon tracking, replace the plug. To see if coil is firing move it to another hole and restart. ford's misfire monitors are fun to set. Takes up to 45 minutes to get them to pick up under specific conditions. Good Luck.

Heater switch replacment

Hello! it's my job to make things as easy for the customer as possible...Therefore I must ask why you want to replace the heater switch? Is it because you have lost one or two of the switch speeds? Your vehicle is noted for loss of the Blower Motor Resistor...Changing the Heater switch means removal of the Climate Control Assembly which is not the easiest of jobs...I've included the process...But are you sure the blower resistor is OK? If you have lost 1,2, or all blower motor speeds it's more than likely the Resistor pack. And a lot easier to change...Guru...saailerRemove climate control:12_26_2011_2_15_09_am.gif

We currently own a 2007 E350 Ext. Length passenger

1st step is to disconnect the aftermarket unit. if the problem goes away then you have your culprit. nobody is going to tell you they installed something wrong, even if they did.

if that does not do it, then you know they are correct about their installation. there are two fuse panels, one with a few big fuses under the hood and one inside the vehicle with many small fuses. one by one you are going to remove overnite the big fuses until you figure out which one has the bad boy on it. when it is out the battery stays charged and when in, the battery drains. when you figure that one out then you can pull the smaller fuses which are downstream on the big fuse circuit, one by one, until you find the one which, when removed, does not cause the battery to drain out over 2 days. when you have that one out you know which few electrical doodads are on it and you replace or live without them. likely suspects are the alarm, power door locks, leveling if equipped.

Installed back up alarm & now the back up

Check the fuses you may inadvertently have shorted out something and blown a fuse. Check other systems like indicators and rear lights, there is usually some other circuit tied in with the reverse light fuse.
