unfortunately you will have to replace the entire instrument cluster, only a dealer can replace it with a new one and program it, a wrecking yard unit can be installed anywhere it just won't have the correct miles on the odometer

I don't quite understand. The gate won't open with the power button or you physically cannot open the gate by pushing the latch? If you can't open it from the power button then you'll have to start checking your fuses. Your owners manual that comes with the car has all the fuse locations in it. If it's not the fuse then you either have a bad wire or the motor to pop it open has gone bad. If you cannot open it manually by the latch, then I'd say your linkage inside the door is broken and you'd be better off taking it to the dealer or to a body shop to get it repaired, especially if you're not mechanically inclined.

More than likely the plastic clips that hold the linkage together have either fallen off or broken. You'll have to remove the door panel to get access to the linkage. Most places like autozone carry the plastic clips but you may want to go directly to the dealer and buy them so you know they'll fit.

Possibly " Factory Original Equipment ", or OEM for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Just a guess.

There are many possible factors including incorrect parts, defective rotor - pads - actuator, improperly bled front brake line, improper maintenance practice during last service. Best to take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic as soon as possible for your and others safety. Tow if you feel it is unsafe to drive that distance. Best of luck.

Haven't worked on yours, but all the newer GM's have two bolts in the back part of the seat, at the floor board. Push the seat forward, remove the covers , if any, remove the bolts, tilt the seat up and pull back on it. This should get it out.

In the fuse box under the hood, located near the firewall on the drivers side, check the yellow color #3 location fuse for accessories. The legend for fuse location is printed inside the fuse box cover and also in your owners manual. The legend also helps locate the few spare fuses the factory provided.

There is a federal warranty of 5 years on all catalytic converters. It should not cost you anything to have it replaced. You stated that it was a 2007 and then a 2011, which year is it? If it is a 2007, you are almost outside of the federal warranty.

Take it in , its covered its a recall problem. I had the same problem once 7 years ago. They fixed it at the dealer no charge.

Probably the first and best next step wold be to have an ODB II diagnostic readout of all engine and transmission, (because engine radiator cools its fluid) alarms to help determine if you have a real issue or just a faulty sensor. Most other paths without this data would be a shot in the dark.
