sometimes a brand will have certain problems and will not get fixed until GM builds the part right.
If I was you, I would call a GM Rep and find out what dealers have the best service department in your area and try one other than the one you been taking your truck to.
When I was a mechanic we would have people come from all over houston to have there cars worked. And found out most f them have been dealing with the same problem for a while and the other dealer could not fix the porblem. But we were able to.
How to remove the car stereo from 2007 Chevy Colorado
This is not hard but tricky because the trim plate around the radio has clips that hold the trim plate very tight.Use a plastic type flat tool or flat screw driver wraped with tape or a shop rag to avoid damage to the plastic trim and pry the trim panel around the radio loose. remove all elec connectors.Then remove the screws that hold the radio in place and remove all elec connectors.

I pulled the wires out of the abs plug that goes
Splicing your wires together will accomplish nothing but to waste your time.The sensors send an electrical signal to the computer.No signal means no ABS and the light will turn on.You will not get a signal by splicing the wires.
Valve ticking problems
using cheap gas may have coated valves with carbon. should be o.k. though! but put some Seafoam from autozone $10...in your gas tank... drive it around hard at sometimes and see if you can blow it off.

TRY THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR FIRST. POWER GOES THROUGH THE BLOWER THEN TO THE RESISTOR AND THEN THE CONTROL MODULE TO GROUND.
THE RESISTOR IS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE HEATER CASE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. USING A TEST LIGHT ATTACHED TO GROUND TOUCH EACH OF THE TERMINALS ONE AT A TIME WHILE SWITCHING THE POSITIONS ON THE BLOWER CONTROL. IF THAT WORKS YOU WILL HAVE A LIGHT FOR EACH WIRE IN EACH POSITION ON THE DIAL. THE RESISTOR IS THE PROBLEM THEN.
RESISTOR WIRE COLORS
LOW = YELLOW
2 = TAN
3 = LIGHT BLUE
HIGH = ORANGE

Decreased power
If your truck has a button for traction control you can push it to turn it off. The problem may be a lack of proper air flow. Any auto parts store can seel you a K&N Air Filter to help increase your overall horse power.
Electric door locks
First off you need a Chiltons manual for that specific vehicle. As for the wiring, I would venture a guess as to they are not present, but you may get lucky when you snatch off the door panels. Lastly, you can find electric door looks in the JC Whitney catalog, but its gonna cost you, but if you do it yourself, less than what an aftermarket shop would cost you. Good luck.
Engine fault light and no drive at 60kmph
I do believe your car is drive by wire, there is no mechanical connection between the gas peddle and the throttle body, you need to have your computer scanned for any fault codes, your computer might be taking a lunch break.
Power decrease
This is a feature of the traction control system,When loss of traction is sensed,it lowers the power to the wheels to maintain a safe driving situation.
