Power steering doesn't seem to be right hard to
It sounds like your steering pump or rack and pinion are defective. You should get more power assist. If the bypass valve is defective, you will have the problems you mentioned.
Since your vehicle is fairly new it may still be covered under warranty. Go to a dealer and mention the bypass valve, show the tire receipts.
Its unfortunate you changed the tires as the tires would show alignment issues with the front end. You may get a courtesy alignment if the old tires were warranteed. If you have the fronts you could bring them to the dealer.

Get under the truck and look where the trans shift linkage connects to the trans, there is a post that comes out of the trans, on that post u will see a large switch with multipile wires connected to it, that is the range selector switch, you need to remove the shift arm and a couple of bolts to remove the range switch, it is adjustable, u will see the slots, make sure u put the new switch in the same position as the old one or the truck may not start.
Won,t shift transfer case into 4wheel drive
Is the truck on the fly 4X4 push button or is there a lever on the floor you pull into 4 wheel drive? Located on the back of the transfer case not hard to change few bolts and a wire harness. Does the front drive shaft turn when you put it in 4x4 and the front wheels won't ingage? If so then its not your transfer case its the actulator on the front axle at the gear hub or pumpkin it will have two 10mm bolts and a black plastic cover if so remove cover and spray actulator shaft with wd-40.
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram that came with the tow
If you have amber signal lights & red brake lights, it's 2 separate circuits. You'll need to buy a small converter that you wire into harness to correct that. Not expensive, try autoparts store or RV/trailer sales, should have them.
Trailer wiring 7 way
dO NOT SPLICE WIRES.. You bought a 45000 dollar truck, spring for a wiring T --25 bucks.. ( plugs between main harness and Tail lights.. ) --Available at most good auto parts.. Painless wiring also has a kit.
If you did already cut or splice into your wires, take that **** loose.. Shrink wrap the dammage.. Silicone over srink wrap.. Wire will corrode.. if you did manage to get spliced wires to work,-- in a few years or sooner you will have issues with the connections..Can you say short circuit.. Moisture and loose connections are a thing of the past with sealed tap in wiring.. Plug and play..
If any of this is over your head, get a friend who knows, or a tech to help.. Don't jerry rig a 45,000 dollar new Truck.. Come ON..!!!!!
I would like to get a wiring diagram for a 2004 F150 trailer plug
I would probably connect directly to the positive battery cable/post and use a fusible link or high amp fuse (30 or 45).
Or you could look in the battery junction box (BJB) and find an open fuse location that is hot in run or hot all the time and use it. I tried sending an illustration, but this site doesn't support it.
I'm looking at a 2008
there are alot of complaints on here about the ford trucks and their transmissions...the 4 wheel drive is bad about going out on them. i would shy away from it if they already had to repair ir
