2008 veracruz alternator keeps dying

I would think after the second alternator they would start looking for the real problem.Unless the extended warranty does not pay for diagnostic time. You may have to take it to a shop that focuses on electrical systems to find the real issue. Or pay the dealer to troubleshoot it.

XM radio ''NOT READY'' message

I have had this problem at least a half-dozen times, and the simplest solution is to pull the 2 fuses labeled 'audio 1' and 'audio 2.' It resets the radio, but it will work for a while after that (until I have to do it again). Had the xm unit replaced 3 times, new antenna installed, replaced the antenna connection wire - it always dies within a month.

Bluetooth has power and buttons click when pushed, but does not respond.

I just got my blue tooth ear phone to work with my laptop, sounds like you want blue tooth car to pickup on your phone speech and sound. You probably have to enable blue tooth on your phone and connect to the bluetooth receiver in the car. Probably be good if blue tooth receiver is on so phone sees the signal, that's the way mine worked, it showed that device, I clicked it to connect. Hope that helps.

UNLOCK TV/DVD

take the sencort line and connect it to golman sache's verification terminal. when the port indication light turns green, then give you computer the instalation cd. that should make it run the dvd, and the sencor will have a better location. dont give it the uninstall cd, as you will probably do. its better to have it running on a asg timed circut than the yso breaker.

Do I require any special tools to replace the driver's side rear reflector on the bumper of a 2008 Hyundai Vera Cruz. It appears to snap in, but I don't want to break it. Thanks.

There's nothing in the manuals about special tools. I have the same problem. I think you'll have to remove the lower bumper in order to get good access to it. It appears that there is a black housing screwed into the bumper from the rear side and the lens would snap into that.

Replace valve cover gasket

Most of the Hyundai Vercruz's have a current recall for the valve cover gasket and the alternator. Oils is leaking into the alternator and can cause a fire. Gasket and alternator should be replaced free by a Hyundai dealer under this recall.

Hqw do you replace the alternator on the 2008 hyundai veracruz

this is a very common issue with the 3.3 and 3.8 v6 hyundai engines. it is recomended that you reseal the valve cover with new silcone and a gasket during the repair of the alternator.
  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.
  2. Disconnect the alternator connector (A), and remove the cable from alternator "B" terminal (B).
3. Remove the drive belt (C). 4. Pull out the through bolt and then remove the alternator (A). 5. Installation is the reverse of removal. b2350d20-a0e8-471a-a98a-6b041a7bdb3f.gif1eb2d0cc-bdfa-4ea3-8ecc-14aad19220af.gif
