To remove the outer handle, open the door and while looking at the edge of the door with it open, you should be looking at the side that the door latch lever is on, look near the top area and you should see a small black plastic oval piece. Remove that piece. Take a flash light and look inside the hole. There will be a brass lever inside with a small hole. Use a pick and insert in the brass slide. If you either push or pull the lever to or away, it will release the outer handle assembly. The assembly levers upwards when removing.

under the hood (bonnet) there's a fuse compartment under plastic.

You need a cross reference sheet to determine which one operates the wipers.

Check wire harness between trunk and body , when you open and close trunk that harness bends and brakes a lot.

your door actuator may have failed especially if you have soft close feature

If your driver's seat and the steering column adjustments are not working, check the switch assembly on the side of the driver's seat. Look at the wiring harness plug. Is it properly and securly plugged in? This is a common problem, the harness plug housing breaks and the plug comes loose.

Any good auto parts store has a serp belt routing picture chart for each car

the fuel pump is located in the gas tank, do you hear it pumping. electronic pumps don't like to run out of gas, the gas cools the pump.

Look under fuse box lid, there should be a diagram.

It might be switch inside the Transmission, BMW(or a garage with a scanner) can hook it uo to a scanner to check them.
