You have to flip the lever and try to adjust the seat. Make sure that the lever is going up far enough to unlock the seat to adjust it. If it is truely stuck, it may take a little muscle to get it back into place. Caution: Do not apply too much force to the seat. It may break.

I would assume that, as you didn't say if it was started or not, if it was not started, that is probably a dead battery trying to engage the solenoid but failing. If the engine is running, then the engine probably has a crankshaft that is hitting something, or major piston rock/slap, either of which requires a motor rebuild.

check head lights for light out,this is what it means on other cars anyway

most solid rule of thumb is to get a test light from auto part store and check all fuses in the box.. sometimes a fuse can blow in a circuit label something else than what you are looking for.. can't miss with checking all
