Ask for the code tester2. locate the plug in under dashboard. 3. plug it in then follow on screen instructions.4. It should give a code for the issue bring it in to the parts counter they will look it up and tell you what it is

yes...there is a fuse for just the running lights. I am not familiar with where the fuse compartments are for your vehicle but there is usually on under the hood and one in the cab of the vehicle located by the feet of the driver or passenger door.

Hi,Check the emissions warranty for your car - should be in the warranty and maintenance manual that came w/the owner's manual. The emissions warranty may be good 'til 100K miles and replacing the Catalytic Converter (CC) would be covered.Also, call the MB dealer and ask 'nicely' about whether it's covered under a recall.It could also just be a bad O2 sensor - not the CC. A failed 02 sensor can cause other issues or codes to occur.But FIRST - have them reset/clear the code and see if it comes back....it may be a 'false-positive' and not really an issue.BTW, don't disconnect your battery to reset the code - you may either lose your car stereo/codes or set off the alarm - unless you know how to fix both!GL,Td
