It sounds to me like a transmission problem. I can't imagine this would be the timing belt or the Throttle Body Sensor. I would have a transmission shop take a look at it.

If it is showing that it is empty, the float may have sank. However, the cause could be the gauge in the dash or the sender and the sender is in the tank. It is not easy to change because you have to drop the tank. It is cheaper to replace the sender than it is to change the dash because the dash guages are all on one unit. However there are tests that can be run to see what the issue is and the tests are done using meters and jumpers etc to see if the guage responds to those. Then they know whether it is the sender or the guage.

Sounds like either a switch or a window motor. If you have a test light or a volt meters and understand how to use it than I would nce more than happy to walk you through the process. You out will also need to have access to the back of the master switch assembly and/or have the door panel removed. if the other windows are working than it is not a bad fuse or circuit breaker. The factory calls for every 90,000 miles. Do not exceed this as this is an "Interference Engine" and if the belt fails it will cause severe engine damage.

My 2009 Sebring does the same thing occasionally but only the drivers door gets stuck (dead locked - even though the locks appear to pop up). The solution I have found once this happens is: 1) The car needs to be driven (crawl in thru the passenger door) -even just a short distance 2) Engine shut off & doors locked with remote (after you've exited from the passenger door of course) 3) Leave turned off for 10 minutes 4) Doors will now open when unlocked with the remote
