Truck will not start. engine only turns over.
Verify that you have spark at all of the plug locations. If you do then you have a fuel issue. Check fuel pump to be working, fuel pressure at the rail. With those three things you should learn what is causing it not to turn over.
2005. Why does it start and run for 2 seconds, then turn off?
sounds like you need tom relearn the security pass lock system. There are plenty of videos on you tube that will show you how to do this.
Essentially you will turn the key on, do not start, and leave it on until the security light stops flashing. then turn the key off and then it turn it back on, do not start. repeat for a total of three times then turn off and start the vehicle. Should take about 30 minutes. side note, it will not hurt to have a battery charger hooked up while you do this to make sure the battery does not go dead... 2003 Denali XL 6.0l 2500 series. Where are the radiator drain plugs located?
Hi Amie:
I'm not specifically familiar with your vehicle, but generally speaking, the drain is located at the bottom of the radiator, usually disguised as a little "T" shaped fitting and located where it's almost (but not quite) impossible to get at without skinning your knuckles.
There will be a hole in the centre and when you unscrew it (counterclockwise) the coolant will drain out the hole.
Tip:....... open the radiator cap (COLD) and it will drain way faster.
