SPORTAGE ENGINE LIGHT ON
Either you never checked the oil in a long time or something is wrong. an engine should never use that much oil and if it was two litres down then you have a serious problem.
Do not assume there is still oil in the engine as you are not getting the internal engine parts covered with oil because over half the lubrication is gone. Get it checked out and I hope you have not ruined the engine by driving it like this. The check engine light is telling you to shut the engine down and you should get it towed especially if the light is flashing. Hope you have good luck.

2005 KIA Sportage Engine Warning Light and Misfire Problem
Pending misfire could be attributed to a lot of things. My first guess is plugs and wires, but if they've been replaced that ends there. Fuel pump would be #2 guess; pumps don't need to be broke to start the computer into wildcat throwing codes mode and freaking the driver out. Third guess would be a vacuum leak or evap leak somewhere in the hoses to/from the air box. When problems like these arise with the engine, if you think what does an engine need, you'll solve the problem. The engine needs a correct combination of air and gas and the correct timing of compression and spark to ignite. If one of these is off, you have a nice light on your dash. It goes out for you because the car returns to normal while you're driving, which to me indicates something is about to fail in that system I just described, but works good enough intermittantly to throw the code and also erase it. Look for any loose or disconnected hoses inside the engine, should be a sticker on top of the hood inside that indicates position and placement if you find any.
Good Luck

Engine Diagram 2007 kia sportage
With conventional cooling system, the upper radiator hose goes to thermostat housing on the engine. You drain antifreeze down, a little, remove radiator hose from thermostat housing, remove thermostat housing, the thermostat should be inside the housing.
Some antifreeze is poisonous, dispose of properly.
Install new thermostat, hook everything back up. Add proper amount of antifreeze to the proper mark. Keep an eye on antifreeze level for a while till your sure all air worked out of the system.

I have a 2007 Kia sportage 4x4 v6. And my rear
If you look close to the wiper motor, you should find a 2 wire plug. Unplug it. Connect a 12 volt test light across the 2 wires.Turn on the rear wiper switch with the key on + if it lights up, you need a new motor. If it doesn't light up check your fuse and remove the one going to r.wiper. See it it's bad and replace as necessary. Garcuda

Where is the ground wire in a 2007 Kia sportage lx
The main engine ground is found by tracing the negative battery cable to where it attaches to the engine. If the vehicle is not spinning over or does not even click when you try to start it, may be the starter is going bad. If all the dash lights come on when you turn the key then a ground is most likely good.

WHEN I DRIVE MY KIA SPORTAGE IT MAKES A RUBING SOUND LIKE REAR BRAKE ?
Are you sure it's the brakes? If brakes are rubbing they'll get hot and the wheel lug bolts will too.
Put on old clothes, drive the car down the freeway on a Saturday or Sunday morning, when there's no traffic, being careful to not touch the brake pedal (except as needed). When you've heard the rubbing noise for fifteen minutes or so, pull way over somewhere safe & park. Turn the engine off & apply the parking brake. Go to each wheel and touch the lug nuts and/or the brake drums or discs the wheels are attached to. If a brake's dragging the disc or drum will be scalding hot. If the brakes are not hot, the rubbing sound isn't brakes.
