The clutch don't have spring to return. hydraulic pressure return the pedal. if you pedal go down to the flour and don't return you lost the pressure. First look in the reservoir for fluid. add DOT3 brake fluid and bleed the system. inspect for leak Good luck

If you indeed need to remove the "k" frame, I hope you have the right equipment to hold the engine, transmission, steering and a few other components stable when they are disconnected from the frame. This job is too big for you. You need someone in the know to supervise.

Check to see if the return spring on the clutch pedal has broken or come off the mounting assy,

I have removed the entire assembly before and it wasn't very difficult. From memory there are a few screws to undo and then the whole assembly slides out. I found the directions in the manual in the section on replacing headlight globes.
