Dear Kate, Unfortunately, sun roof drains do plug up. Here are some reasons: 1) insects get in them and build nests ( spiders, wasps, etc.) 2) Some are crimped when installed at the factory.( Yes, I have seen this). 3) Some debris ( dirt, dust, pieces of leaves, etc.) can run in to the drain accidently when the sunroof is opened. Also, know that no amount of dealer servicing can catch this ahead of time. Cleaning sunroof drains is not done anywhere by anyone until they give you a problem. God bless your efforts.

Battery for VW Rabbit: go to auto parts store and have counter person look up correct CAA/voltage and size for your car. Be prepared to either give them old battery or pay a core charge. Many parts stores will do the change out. Battery: Tablet-you either find experienced professional in your area that has access to replacement batteries, or send it back to manufacturer.

Electrical issue obviously. Check your battery connections and battery.

You have to pry open the carpet to exposed the assembly. Use a 10mm socket to removed the two nuts that hold the housing from the body. Once you get that done, you open the compartment and removed the bulb. Replaced and proceed the same way you removed it in reversed order.

If the battery is the original battery then it's 6 years old. Try and put a charge on it for a couple of hours and if it doesn't crank the engine then I'd pull the battery and take it to an auto parts store. Have them load test it. It's probably bad.
