Bmw 316i had a service a week ago but car losing power
is it just idling roughly or hesitate when accelerating? You may have a clogged cold start injector in which you could have poor performance before the vehicle heats up to its operating temp but once it reaches its peak temp will run fine. Did your servicing include a tune up and/or fuel system cleaning if not I would recommend one.

How to check the glow plugs on a bmw 320d 51 plate
Before you remove them, if your car is starting ok and idling smoothly on all cylinders they will be ok. If you have a misfire for 15 or so seconds, one of your heaters might be duff. If the car is difficult to start and is very rough to begin with, you have two out. (This is assuming your injectors are in good condition because they can give trouble on cold starts also.) The easiest way to find a bad heater is to remove the strap or cable that connects them all and using a multi meter check each one. The one that gives no reading is your problem. If you get your replacement from a spares shop you will pay a fraction of the manufacturers price. (Replace all four if you can afford it. It will save you the bother of having to to the job again in a couple of months and it will give you some spares for an emergency.)

Car won't turn over
Should be a 318i, what is the year? Have you checked relays, and depending on the year, these cars have ews modules that is a bit tricky to bypass. Unless your experienced at this on BMWs do not bypass ignition system. Hook the system back up using the factory key and try again.

I am having overheating problems with my BMW
well this depends on what engine you have, i have a 316i e46 and has a 1.9ltr engine, if that is the same it might be the engine thermostat has stuck and need replacing, thats the good news, the bad news is it could be your head gasket, 1.8ltr engines were prone to blowing the head gasket, look in the rad water bottle to see if there is any oil residue in there, and also take off the oil filler cap to see if its a creamy colour thats your worse senario, but its proberbly just the engine thermostat

My key does not open or lock my doors remotely had
You do not say what year your car is, here is standard programming for most bmw,s,after battery or key replacement or malfunction.
Unlock car, enter, make sure all doors boot etc are closed.
Switch ignition on and off, remove key.
PRESS AND HOLD unlock button.
Press lock button 3 times in 10 seconds
Release unlock button
Some models led flashes in key for 10 seconds
Later keys central locking will lock unlock rapidly to confirm reset.
Later keys without led has no battery replacement,as it charges as you drive. So if you have this type charge before reprogramming

I have a bmw 316
might be drain plug washer or could be a leak from higher up the engine. get it cleaned off using some gunk remover and low pressure hose then watch for easier indication of actual leak.

My oil light is on and there is plenty of oil in
Its usually eather the oil pressure sensors bad or the oil pump is weak and does not pump enough volume. If you have a high mileage engine that has not been getting regular oil and filter changes this could be the trouble.
