ABS AND TRACTION LIGHT CAME ON MY 2012 DODGE AVENGER
WHAT CAUSES THAT?
Abs or Antilock Brake System keeps tires from slidding on icy/slippery surfaces there should be wires behind the tire that go to the hub idk if u can see wires with the tire on but it also could be a bad wire to check this start the car and see if you have power to the "hot" or positive wire if you do it is most likely the sensor is bad there is a sensor on both front tires so make sure u check both for power and also check the hub there should be a bunch of nubs that stick up which is what the sensor reads off of to tell if the tire is skidding look for broken nubs if it is the sensor its about 20-35 depending on location ur at and store I will try to add some pictures of the abs sensor location
Heater Not Working Correctly
I have the same problem with my Dodge Avenger. The issue is with the heater core. The company that made the heater cores for Dodge that year put to much flux in it. The flux comes loose and you get a sludge build up in the heater core that drops to the bottom of it. The heat for the passenger side blows on the bottom of the heater core. So that is why the air is cool on that side. Solution: you can try flushing the the system. If you take the cap off the coolant reservoir you will see the sludge build up. It has a reddish tint to it. Hope this helps.
Running hot
