Hi i have a vw polo 2009 model petrol I was driving at 25mph the car lost power right down to 0mph then the engine cut out on me and now it will not start can any one give me a clue what it could be i have changed the spark plugs and changed the spark plug leads and i have check the fuel pump and still wont start

Miss fire could be spark plugs or coil pack at fault

If it was running ok before you did the water pump then I would check to make sure that all the connectors that were disconnected were put back together. Check to see if there are any engine codes with a scanner. Check the throttle body sensors to see if they are connected

there are two types of clutch cable one is self adjusting there is an adjuster half way along the cable. The second type has a manual adjuster at the end of the cable. If you have the first type you can retrofit the manual cable.

most likely place is at the front of the engine bay i think its a 60amp ? look around the battery area ,some models have a small flat box on top of the plus battery terminal and this are some link type fuses but as yours has electric power steering then i would look for a fuse box holder around the battery tray area .
