i am driving a 2007 toyota yaris hatch and the fuel gage is not working because its always on half tank even when she doesnt have fuel. Please advice. Thabiso.

Hi,maybe you are talking about the fan that takes the heat away from the radiater to cool the engine.

It can be faulty wiper motor or blown wiper control fuse.

Do you hear any kind of noise when you starter the wiper function. If yes then fuse is ok, but issue is wiper motor.

If no movement at all and no noise then its blown fuse or shorted/loose wiper control wiring:-----

That plug has its own fuse. Please consult the fuse box diagram for the location and size.

Diagnostic Trouble Code Table can help you to check the trouble code when you diagnose your car with OBDII diagnostic tools.

Guessing you have actually removed each plug attached to coil and grounded to see if the coils are firing. The fact that you have voltage in does not mean voltage out of coils...they do fail. If they fail try known working coil to test. Checked correct timing? Check cam sensor if equipped? Check knock sensor? Engine ground cable intact?

While all this is going on is the compressor cycling on/off or does it stay on, but the air temp still changes with the compressor on? If it stays on, most likely the blend air door actuator is bad. If its going on/off the temp sensor/setting control is bad.

Hello DJOUALIL ! In some models of Toyota Yiaris the speedometer works through the wheel front, and some models through the ABS unit. To have the speedo working you should have to replace the ABS Unit. For your vehicle I am not sure, Please ask your close garage about.

Hello Athar ! I believe that most probably the problem you do have is in your remote key, the locking button. You do need an expert to open it and renew the very small electronic knob ( button )

Are you referring to the OBD (On-Board Diagnostic) port that accepts scan tools? If so its on the left under the dash in front of the fuse box.
