Left turning signal not working
The Hazard lights work on a separate switch to the turn signal stalk. Using them was a good test to check the bulbs are still working. I'm assuming this is a car that is a few years old.
If the right signal works and the left one does not it is possibly the switch that is built into the stalk on the steering column that is faulty. I'm not sure if they can be fixed. Most repairers will commonly replace rather than repair.
My 2010 Toyota Fortuner, then central locking opens but does not lock with either the remote or manual locking, how can i do a quick fix foe now
The common reason for both the remote fob to fail plus the manual lock to fail is a faulty lock actuator. But you can try replacing the battery in the key fob. Those batteries are at Wal-Mart and it that is the problem, you are in luck. That is a DIY. Yep, you can open that fob if you can spy the slot. The battery is the cr2032.
Yes, it is possible for a single door lock actuator to fail and that result in all the locks failing to work. That particularly can happen in newer cars. If the issue is not the battery in the fob, this may be the problem. It could be other things but you are looking for a quick fix, not a bunch of diagnostic efforts.
.Here is a possibility though not a high probability. Remove the ECU fuse. Then, put it back in! That might start things locking and unlocking again. These are the "quick" ideas I have.
