You must remove the entire dash assembly, a job best left to an expert if you ever intend to use the car again.

Probably the easiest way is to get a Japanese friend to do that for you....

Take all the screws out.

I'm not sure you can turn up the volume, but you might be able to locate the module with the speaker for the reverse sensing module and clear the path, removing any obstructions, so that you can hear it better. If the module's not blocked, turn down the radio or consider hearing aids.

try using a scan tool to reset the ECM if that doesn't work , replace the ecm

At best as I know the 2005 Prado is all time 4WD vehicle. Is the engine running ? Can you shift the gears ? May be something is broken in the drive train... As a suggestion you can go home by locking the centre differential, proceeding at low speed and checking for noises . Pls. let me know if it helps...

could be the Air Idle Control Sensor, Carbon deposits build up over time and cause the sensor to read faulty, sometimes they can be removed and cleaned, but usually require replacement. if you have any other questions please leave me a comment!

Its not to hard if u are capable of running wire. First off most aftermarket radios have generally the same wireing red is power to key yellow is power strait to the battery and black is ground now depending on the radio you buy there will be one or two blue wies one with a white line the one blue wire with white line is your power antenna wire if you have a power antenna the other blue wire is for added components like an amp for your subs if you have one. Now there 8 wires that will be green, green/white, purple purple/white, white, white/black, grey, grey/white and those are all your speaker wires front and rear channels. There might be more wires like auto dim and mute and so on but most of the time nobody hooks them up because thay are not needed. Hope this helps good luck.
