Could be a buildup of coolant in the exhaust. Are you loosing coolant or engine oil ?

if this is a OBD code they have four numbers , what age is vehicle as pre 1996 there is a different system

22R 4 cyl.Get # 1 piston to TDC(stick the harmonic balancer back on temporary)setting the mark to O on the timing tab,pull the balancer back off and slip the chain on the crank gear after finding the single dot on the chain.Set the mark on the cam gear at very top and put the chain mark on that mark on the cam gear.Stick the cam gear back on the cam and bolt it back on.Your set now.

disconnect battery FIRST then put your hand behind steering collum there will be eather 2-3 screws or nuts remove then ,disconnect plug in wire .

you have an excessive current draw and I would be looking for a wire that is dead shorting to earth or something that that circuit works that has an internal dead short.

hi there. if your abs indicator light stays on its telling you that there is a fault. and the number one fault for this is usually a wheel sensor. you have one on each wheel. one or more will need to be replaced. then you will need to reset the abs. after. sensors are not easy things to replace. you need to strip down the brake drum/ disc which you have. and if your not careful you could damage them. the ideal thing would be to take it to the garage for this job.

my wild guess is the 2.4L due to OBD2 status. only...you need to say.. my motto: NO YEAR NO MODEL No engine size. (or transmission type A/T or M/T?, if that is in question) NO HELP (or your joy) No country , too , is a royal pain , all cars are different by country (laws)

Follow these steps: 1. Loosen off the distributor coil. 2. Connect the timing light lead clip to cylinder marked as number 1 cylinder spark plug lead. 3. Connect the red wire clip to the positive battery terminal 4. Connect the black clip wire to the negative battery terminal. 5. Put the gearbox is in neutral, and pull the hand brake 6. Start the engine 7. Turn the throttle knob until the engine is revving at 600rpm 8. Check the crank pulley, and look for the crank pulley mark, if the mark is not visible switch off the engine. weak fueling. is my guess. makes no difference>? that mean the same? or no diffr. means flat spot not there hot. my guess, is hot/cold flat spot.??? weak fueling, change out the filters? yet?

check the fusible link next to the battery as you may have blown a fuse.

Ahhhh clutches (me expert), a M/T car. but no year stated..... is the system bleed of all air, keep in mind the clutch lines are vertical and air wants to float up, as you bleed down , a Royal PITA that , and worse on some air craft (hell) if air free, you will see the slave remove all free play between it and the clutch lever, does it? if not the , clutch throwout bearing can be crushed (destroyed) or the PP fingers bent inward, (they got red hot and....) that is first. if the free play is now zero at bell clutch lever, then person 1 , pushes clutch to floor, and the slave moves 3/4 to 1 inch does it, yes, good, no bad slave bleed or pedal not doing a full stroke(adjust it per FSM) if yes full stroke on clutch lever (no play) then the clutch is bad if it is stuck engaged or drags in any way shape or form. the acid test is reverse the NO SYNCHO gear. love to grind with any drag. post engine type, size displacement and cylinder counts all engine are different. if in usa, open hood, look up, (see EPA sticker and engine type) bingo, or post the VIN. if you had know the engine, type. you could have google searched it using google image and see every part of engine, a 1000 times over. near endless photos of all things toyota. or ask here.

what light?. i've no idea what that means.. the operators guide names all lights. name it or show a photo. or ? RTM or read the FSM. post all symtoms , including light location and color and shape.

is this a four wheel drive or a front wheel drive-it may be a drive axle going out- Denny
