No light on the shifter can't see at night if itsin drive on a 2005 toyota corolla i need instruction how to get to the bulb

remove the center console and you will see the bulb under the shift panel. To remove the console you need to open the lid and remove the pad on the bottom, remove two screw on the inside, remove four screw on the side and top of the console, pull parking brake and slide the console up and back. Some console have electrical plugs!! Disconnect the plugs before removing all the way. On the left side of the shifter is small black socket, turn left and pull down to remove. Replace the bulb and install in reverse order Good Luck
