I have a 2005 Suzuki Verona and the shifter goes into park, but the tranny don't. The display shows a P,R,N and D overlaid onto one another. You have to start the car in N. Any ideas?

ok , you said the tranny dont. how do you know that.? starting (its really cranking) works in park and neutral both. this is normal. so since you got to N, that means it not the PARK lockout feature failing. so if it shifts to N, and cranks and then starts and they you'd shift to D, what happens then in D?>????????????? you never said ! if car runs ok started in N but only fails to crank in park that means the P/N switch is bad, (p/n park neutral crank start line fails in park but not Neutral means the P side is worn out, as all do )

2005 Verona rpm revs as I drive and when at a light feels like it's going to stall and sometimes it does why does it do this and how do I fix

that is called misfire. any scan tool attached at that MOMENT will show why 90% of time. or ever get a full tune up this decade? 9 of 10 cars misfiring are for NO TUNEUPS ever. why , well that is because many parts of cars do not last the life of the engine. fluids, spark parts, filters. belts. and we change them out before they fail . this act is called a tuneup or in modern jive,,,, "doing the 60K mile service points"

Where is the low pressure port on 2005 Verona located

HVAC A/C there is no need to ask. at all. you go to walfart, buy the fancy R134 kit with hose and gauge and instructions and it tells you what to do ! "instructions in the box" the low side on R134 is special sized. and the hose only fits that port. not the high side, at all. both lines are in clear view,,,, compressor to dryer, and to firewall. just look, and see what you have... not only that it varies by the 4 or 5 engine options, this A/c pipe routing. (true on most cars) the FSM covers this, alldata.com or real https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1064-2005-forenza-reno-service-manual.aspx posted over 100 times here, how to get info by self. how to fish, no free fish....

How many oxygen sensors are on a Suzuki Verona and where are they.

no year, stated nor which engine. of the 2, count cylinders and say? In the USA the cars have 2 sensors for 4cyl, and inline engines. and 3 or 4 sensors, depending on if in calif or not.. so no engine , no year stated, no answer. my guesss, usa car. and is really a Daewoo Magnus both engine here, should have 2 sensors. 1 IN FRONT DOES THE MAGIC FUEL RATIO METERING. 2ND IN REAR OF CAT DOES THE CAT MONITORING ONLY per EPA laws, here. in usa some, I-6's have split manifolds and run 3 sensors. (calif, type) may depend on year. tell engine and can look it up on alldata.com or at https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Category/3-suzuki-service-manuals.aspx $4 a look , cheap.

Will not accelerate

will not accel, tells zero. the engine has weak power? or the transmission slips? or will not up shift the 4 gears. any mechanic can drive the car and in 5 min tell you which it is. if the ENGINE RPM rises and the vehicle speed does not increase in direct (transmission) relation to engine RPM then the transmission is slipping or if the transmission does not upshift say so. if the transmission is not slipping and will not ACCEL. then the engine is bad, weak. why not, take it to a shop and ask them to test it. any ASE certified shop will tell you, some for free.

How do I disable the traction control system

wow, no year, stated! that is amazing.... ok the operators guide answers this, lost that in the glove box. i can see you have no idea how these systems work. Track control uses ABS. ABS uses brakes. so.... brakes are first. so you didnt scan the PCM first. ?? no DTC errors????? a 2000-06 verona is a daewoo magnus. (in snake skins) what suz, did to that car, is the wonder of the world, really. why not defeat ABS last. see if that stops the front lockup. the RF wheel only locks in motion.'? you cant get it to stay locked, parked?????? IF Yes, crack the brake line, let it leak fluid, does wheel unlock now. yes, no? yes, then the problem is up stream no, the brakes are bad, new caliper time. piston sticking. the fsm shows how to defeat both, get one. or try here. for 4 bucks. https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1138-2006-verona-service-manual.aspx or try alldata.com for $15, easy huh, no more blind. id be all over that caliper , then do the line checks. no need to blame ABS or Tract control. not yet.
