you broke it the wire inside the door are not broken so just look every where you touched and bingo the problem seen. or blew a fuse next time doing any electric work on the car pull the battery neg lug. to prevent damage to the car. if confused and lack a service manual to test the wiring go to a shop and have them look.

is this first car in winter, is it winter there.? do other cars smoke there cold days outside. smokes only cold so is normal (stream) or EFI is too rich diesel. normal is steam, not smoke, oil.

Hi ihad the problem the remote stopped working ,My car ssangyong rexton 2.9 with bosch inline injector pump, My car was parked in such a position it could not be moved, I located the imobiliser which was fitted to the injector pump with a bolt that when tightened sheered the head off ,I removed the fuel pipe fitted to it got s sharp small chisel and a dot punch ,The bolt head is dome shaped Attacked the head with the chisel and then the dot punch,The bolt came loose undid it with my fingers, took it off the pump removed the encoder unit soldered 2 wires to the sllenoid no more imobiliser just feed solinoid with 12v from ignition ,Weld new head on bolt Job done

Check the cam sensors

Like a lot of modern cars, you will need to remove the headlight to replace any of the bulbs. This is easier than you think! On top of the headlight there is three small bolts holding it on. Remove these bolts and the entire headlight should lift out. It might be a bit stubborn but this is usually the water seal on the back of the light fitting. Remove the wire connectors on the back of the headlight and the covers. This should reveal the bulbs which are held in by spring clips. Refitting is the reverse of this. I would suggest you lightly clean the seal on the back of the headlight and the area where it touches to keep the joint water tight.

Hello. To remove the lamp from the headlamp, twist the electrical socket counterclockwise (to the left) to remove. Please be careful because those lamps becomes searing hot to the touch if left 'on' for any length of time. Also, try not to touch nor 'smudge' the new lamp. When was it last given a Major service? Black smoke is usually a sign you engine is running 'Rich'. This means the Fuel and Air mixture has too much fuel in it.
