If your system is completely empty, it should take 2 small cans or one large. You should also check to see if your system is leaking. Most systems will not need recharging often.

If you don't know what temperature setting the fan sensor is you can call AutoZone and ask about the part. They will be able to tell you what temperature it's set at. I have always found if it us running cooler than it should it will decrease your gas mileage. So Yes if your thermostat setting is to low or Stuck Open it will make I run colder than it should and drop your gas mileage. I have a 92 Yukon and it calls for a 198 to 208 thermostat.
I put a 170 in because I added a performance chip. It runs great but my mileage dropped between 5 and 7 mph. Starting in the early 90s they want vehicles to run hotter. I guess that is suppose to make them burn cleaner. If you haven't changed your thermostat I would do that first. Then if it still runs cold replace the fan switch. Hope this helps you

ESC is what some manufacturers call ESP.

The traction control system uses the wheel speed sensors of the ABS (antilock brake) system but instead of releasing the brake of a wheel that is locking, uses a different programme to apply the brake of a wheel spinning under acceleration. I believe the ESC system is similar in principle but a more refined programme to increase vehicle stability.

Servicing the system is a specialist task requiring access to some sophisticated electronic equipment and somewhere in the process there should be an experienced thorough visual inspection of all the external components.

You can't bypass the security system as it is integrated into the engine management and other systems.

The security system is generally disarmed by a coded transponder embedded in the key. When the key is inserted the transponder and the security system talk to each other and compare codes. If the codes match the engine will start.

I guess your new key either has no transponder or hasn't been coded. There is a possibility if your old key is held very close to ignition steering lock (before fitting the new key) then try to start with the new key and it might work.
Sometimes once the system is disarmed a certain sequence can programme a new key - but that is something you will need to take further advice about.

Hello, first it means the code tells you that there is lost of communication with the TCM ( traction control module ). Check all fuse link to that module an if everything is fine buy another module an let it be able to communicate first. That cat will never change because it needs to know the vehicle speed for it to change since it's automatic transmission..

Ernesto Unhook the positive cable. Put a test light with the clip on the battery cable then fought the pin end to the positive battery post. The light on the test light should NOT come on. If it does you have what is called an off key drain. Unfortunately it can be very hard to find. First check the easy things like make sure the light under the hood or the one in your glove box or truck if you have one isn't stuck on?
Then You can start with the junction block under the hood that furnishes power to the inside of the car and find which circuit is hot that shouldn't be. I've got a feeling you will find its on your courtesy circuit. If so you might have to check every electrical switch in the vehicle. On the last one I worked on that had the same problem it was the switch on the back hatch. I have seen a few times when a diode in the Alternator went bad causing it to drain the battery. If your not familiar or don't feel comfortable working on your car take it to a garage. Hopefully you have one you use and don't have to take UT to the dealer. Hope this helps you.

The caliper is not retracting properly to release the braking pressure. You need to have the calipers replaced.

Or, if you drive with your foot on the brake peddle, stop that. You are pressing on the brake and engaging the brake while driving.

Does your temperature gauge show the engine running Hot?
Does it turn over but doesn't start or is it not even turning over? A Hot engine takes a lot more cranking amps than a cold one.
I would first check the battery and make sure it reads like 12.2 volts with the engine off. I had that problem with a brand new TransAm once. Long story short. The battery was low even though brand new. The owner started it, drove one mile to work and shut it off. Then started it and one mile home and shut it off. Within a couple months she had ruined the battery. To be safe figure 15 minutes for the battery to start excepting a proper charge. Since yours will start cold drive it to AutoZone and let them out a load test on the battery. That will show the condition of the battery within minutes. They can also check your alternator to make sure it is putting out the proper voltage.
Hope this helps you out.

Check the fuses first, but more than likely a bad headlight relay.
