I assume you are guessing that its the cam sensor? Its prob the distributor unit that fails. Best to pop along to your local Garage and have a diagnostic test carried out.. should cost around forty pound uk....takes the guesswork out of the equation.

fast vacum by drier 2nd line & run compressor.when all air out by drier 2nd line.(have connected gas metter & gas clynder.)then gas charge 12 to 15 presser & use pancing tool block the drier 2nd line,cut it line solder it.

It could be. I always check fuses first. Pull them out and inspect them. Good, put it back in. I pull them, this gets rid of any corrosion problems that may exist.

probably as the cable comes in from a different direction the best course of action is to visit the wreckers as the unity may cover more than a specific model so one out of a vehicle a few years either side of yours will ,probably be a replacement

Possible heater tap valve problem, wrong vacume line connected to it or heater hoses not fitted in correct position on engine causing lock when thermostate opens.
