I had same problem on my 06 megane water in connection on window motor. i dryed it out and it was ok for me. be careful get it checked properly as it has been know for them to burn out from time to time.
Have a look at fuel filter, get blocked over time and only after lot of pump pressure from long starting, enough fuel gets through to kick engine. Only high revs can suck fuel through.
Take the air filter off and try starting.
Check plugs and leads, look for build up of sediment on plugs.
After that comes a list of sensors.......see how you get on for now..
Hi - the way to enable code mode is to turn off the radio - then hold down 2&5 & press the on button - this will bring you into the 0000 code mode.

You will probably need to visit a Renault dealer with the VIN code the numbers from the radio and proof of ownership, they have a special number code dealers use to recover the individual radio codes, I hope this helps, take care.
