Before you run the wire from battery to starter... the ignition needs to be in the run position...for fuel and spark to activate.

the common prob with renault is crankshaft position sensor its cheap easy fix its located above flywheel where engine and gearbox join 1 connector and 2 11mm headed bolts to remove. change that first

Get your battery tested at a battery dealer, normally free of charge

It could be the fuse. The fuses should be located under the dash near the left of the driver. If your car has the safety switch by the driver, to keep the kids in the rear seat from opening the windows, it could be off or not working. Hope this helps.

2006 renault scenic ?? you poor thing mechanics are good on a renault but the electronics leave a lot to be desired and the only answer is to either have the existing dash unit repaired or obtain one from a scrapyard and change it then have it reprogrammed in a renault garage ,the whole back of the dash is a computer and you stand no chance ,even in the main computer its all encrypted so even some of my fancy software that cost a small fortune will not read anything only the chassis number on these cars ,OBDII codes ?? no chance most of the time .Renaults are the one car i just send to the dealer with electrical problems all the others i will sort out 99% of the time

read the tire it says it on it on the side wall ?

There should be a lever in the door jamb, open the door and look at where the latch is on the door itself.

check the batteries.in the key or remote.

please post symptoms. in detail, as we are blind here. for sure. did you read the chapter in the glove box operators guide,=? is radio is still stock:? lost the book, get it at Renault for free, most give it free so they dont get lawsuits. (safety issues )

There's a better than good chance you've blown some fuses. Maybe even relays. How close were the cars when you jumped them. Were they touching ? Red.
