Renault technical problems
Faults like this can rarely be solved in this manner as there are many things it could be, plus you need specialised diagnostic equipment. Take it to a renault repairer and get them to look at it.

Why is my renault laguna ii losing power and will not rev above 4000 ?
had similar issue but with laguna 2.0 IDE where there are 2 sensors at the end of the fuel rail left hand side of engine looking into engine bay from front of car, they both look like cylinders about 2 inches high with terminal points for wires on top, replacing the sensors resolved the issue but they were really expensive and only available from renault, i was able to run the car as long as i stayed below 4000 revs if i removed the lead from the top of one of the sensors. be aware if you do change the sensors yourself, do it a while after you have last used the car and engine is cool, as removal of sensor causes the pressurized fuel to come out at speed all over you. hope it helps

Car problem troubleshoot
i had this with my 2.0 IDE laguna. it was due to a low voltage level on battery enough power to fire the relays, but not enough to turn the starter. check that your battery voltage is high . i ended up getting anew battery and a battery conditioner from ebay to just keep the voltage topped up when not using the car, i never found what was causing the drain on battery though

Rear wheel
Sounds like you have bad brake shoes, and either the wear sensor is dragging or the shoe rivets are cutting in to the drum. I would pull down and inspect. Also check your axle bearing while there. Remember if this side is worn so is the other side

Where is diesel cut off switch located on laguna 1.8
what makes you think there is one.the FSM (factory service manual) covers this , 100%buy one new or used.check fuses first.why does wiki say there is no Generation II Laguna with 1.8L diesel.but shows, x6 , 1.9Lall are F9Q-xxx engines. 1,870 ccso what matters is exactly which of the 6 F9s you have.all have Direct injection, and works more like gas car than diesel.but says>The
diesel-fuel is delivered either by a mechanical injection pump or a common rail fuel injection installation.my guess is common rail.is it>?the first job is to check all fuses.the make sure filters are clean (done)then make sure the glow plugs all work.if all that works, then using the proper scan tool see if the PCMis throwing DTC codes (say for crank or cam sensors)crank for 5 second scanning. got DTC errors?if that is ok, fuel pump pressure is key next step.the next step are the injectors actually firing electrically.how is that.?

Renault faults
Sounds like you might have a bad bearing or possibly a synchroniser. Fifth and Sixth gear wound more than likely share both especially a bearing. The engine noise could changed if it is a bearing and is loading the engine because a faulty bearing is making it work harder to pull it. One other thing that is possible is the engine is giving problems at that particular RPM but if it reaches the same RPM in other gears and doesn't make any noise then that has to be in the transmission..

Reverse lights not working changed blubs anf fuses
it is more than likely the switch.
On the 5 speed models it is screwed into the left side of the gearbox casing next to the driveshaft inner joint and on 6 speed models it is on top of the casing.
To test the switch, disconnect the wiring connector and use a multi-meter set to resistance function, select reverse gear and test for continuity across the switch terminals. If you dont have & meter you can make up a battery bell or light set.
If your test doesnt get a response from your chosen tester then the switch is faulty, sometimes it is just stuck and a tap on the switch will clear it, however if not sorry, new switch.
I hope this helps.

Rear wheel clunking noise and squeeling noise sometimes
This sounds like it could either be brakes or a wheel bearing going bad. You can check this by removing the rear wheel and inspecting the brakes making sure the caliper is mounted on tightly and brake rotor isn't showing uneven wear. Also be sure to check the brake pads to make sure that they are not worn down to the squealer tabs. Most new pads are roughly 3/8" -1/2"thick. and will start squealing if at about 1/8"-1/16" thick. If everything checks out fine then check the wheel bearing by simply jacking the wheel up off the ground and grabbing. Now try to move it side to side or up and down, it should have no play what so ever. And spin the wheel to listen for screeching or squealing, it should rotate smoothly with no abnormal noises.

Light
there is a way to turn service light off , but you may need to call somebody to find out which way on your car it is done , some cars you turn ignition on to accessories and hold odometer in for ten seconds , some you need turn ignition on ten times to reset. there are few ways so call a mechanic that services Renaults and ask him . hope this helps . service lights will come on most car when the next service is due . like oil changes e.t.c but need to be turned off when service complete by the mechanic .... hope this helps .

Radio and temp display fuse keeps blowing
Sounds like you have a short in the wires for those two circuits. I would get a hold of wire diagram for your car; usually in the repair manuals like Chilton's and Haynes should have it. Then look to see what wires or circuits those two functions have in common. I bet they are tied into each other and share the same positive power supply. After getting an idea of what wires to be looking for, color and and what not, do a visual check first. If you see nothing look up how to do a voltage drop test and test the power supplied those suspected wires to see if you can find an unreasonable amount of voltage drop. It can be a nightmare if you don't find it right away. ;)

Renault laguna wont idle stalls
It's obviously beyond your expertise to repair it yourself. And it's not the type of problem that can be diagnosed over the internet.Find a trustworthy repair shop and take it there.
