when some one selling some thing says that it is all right and not to worry then I immediately worry and ask myself if it is so good why is it being sold. If your mechanic friend refuses to fit it then that is a second good reason not to fit it as he has your health at heart. Get your money back or right it off to experience and junk it.

A renault tech told me how to reset the electronic parking brake on my grand scenic without going to dealer, this works if you have had to pull the yellow emergency handle in rear which i have had to do this week. Turn your ignition on without starting engine, have drivers door open and press lock button on keycard put keycard in reader and press start button for 5 seconds. pull large part of manual handbrake handle and push small button with red light without letting go of larger handle and you should hear the handbrake motor reset! That should be it!

Problem with supply to the throttle body. check connections at throttle and injection comp aswel as throttle pedal. also check for corrotion on abs computer conection

drive shaft boot retaining clips has to be cut with hack saw then you has to cut cv boot open.

Take it to a garage ,too much special equipment needed ,like a four poster ramp ,dropping the front sub frame ? not a job on a side jack and axle stands

When trying to start engine if the light that looks like the back screen with a zig zag line through it stays on or flashes the engine is immobilised , if you have a spare key or card try that . I would need more information to answer more

The engine and transmission in this cars drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. diesel i presume watson ,nobody buy a pertol version of this motor only the crazy petrol heads ,last one i done i jacked the engine up with the front mounting undone so it cleared the sub frame ,Problem here is i do get confused at times with what i have done and havent done known as old timers but sure i changed a set of shells in one a while back ,and a new piston after the belt went
