I'm not sure but there is probably a fault in the seat controller. You may need to see a Porsche dealer or a service center with a Porsche PWIS tester. They will be able to tell if the seat heater control is working properly. If it has a fault, they may be able to clear it.

The assembly needs to be removed from the inside and taken out one of the doors. It is a cassette style with limited replacement parts. A great manual for this repair is indeed advised! There are too many procedures to cover in this forum. It is time consuming but not difficult. A used assembly from a salvage yard is a great way to go, if it has low miles/use.

Is the light limited to brake fluid level? Many times this is also an indicator of worn out pads or need to adjust emergency brake cable...Hope this helps.

Its very common for the battery holders to become loose from the circuit board. Open the unit, inspect the board for any loose solder joints, re-solder as needed and make sure the battery is inserted with the proper polarity.
