the license light works off of the taillight circuit. check for power and ground at the socket, if you don`t have one or either then you will have to check the wire from the socket to find out were the lose of power to the wire is and repair.

are you asking for modifications to your car? my guess is that its really related to alarm system busted or immobilizer features. ? please say what dont work right, and on any 07 there is little that can be bypassed or diabled. your GM dealer can answer that in 1 nanosecond. in many cases its now illegal to do it. (new laws USA) (have the fed. law , number here) is car stock now, (stock means as it left the dealers lot new)? post symptoms. and win.

when last you had it service did you check for codes you may have a bad speed sensor ,the fuel pressure and air filter

This sounds like a transmission problem. I would take this into someplace like an Aamco. Have them do a diagnostic for 80 bucks to eliminate that or get it fixed while it is still cheaper to do.

if it's a TBI 9 to 13 psi if it's a PFi around 40psi or near hope it helps

sending unit is broke . replace it
