open the boot lid and gently run a hose on the back glass(do not allow any water to flow over the boot seal) Have some one do this while you check around the window drain area inside the boot and up in the mudguard areas checking for rust holes or cracks. Use talk powder in these areas to detect water trickles or feel with you fingers for wet areas . Check the steel lip that the seal is fixed on for rusted areas underneath it as water will get in these holes.

Peugeot 307 wont start
By bump start do you mean you can have it pushed or push it, jump in and depress the clutch and get it started using the momentum of the vehicle to turn the crank? I usually call that a jump start but I think I have heard it called bump start (from having it bumped/pushed by another vehicle I think). Anyway if that is the case you need a new starter. If not post back and I will do what I can to help.
Brake light switch
Check the wiring connectors for the lights to see if they are clean and no green inside, if so spray with wd40 and reconnect.
