2007 Peugeot 307 1.6 Questions & Answers
Just tried to start my 2007 307 1.6 s all it does is click and then the anti pollution light comes on and says air bags s/belts faulty?
If all you hear is clicking, then the starter's not getting enough power from the battery...
This problem could be a weak battery, faulty wiring (I've even encountered squirrels eating the wires!), but the most likely culprit is usually a weak or bad (dirty) connection between the battery clamps & battery posts. They need to be clean (both the clamps & the posts) and also need to be tight on both ends.
After servicing these, I'd recommend using an anti-corrosive product. (there are numerous methods & products)
A good solid connection may also fix your other problems.
How to easily find a leak in an inlet manifold ?
Any vehicle will run poorly with an intake manifold leak. One easy way to test for a leak is to (while the engine is still fairly cool) spray carb and choke cleaner/starting fluid around the base of the intake. You only need a small amount: if there is a leak in between the manifold and the heads, your RPMs will increase until the engine sucks all the carb cleaner in.
How do I find an inlet manifold leak
To find an intake leak, you can spray carb cleaner around each port with the engine running and listen for engine sound changes. This also works on vacuum hoses.

probly sumethin rong w the baro sensor--that relays air pressure--disconnect plug at computer then plug bac in see if system reboots--or get a scan done at a private shop that has factory gear--a code reader at a dealer or partstore wont cut it--u need values of components compared to normal
Why doesn't it start?
If it won't start normally, but does with a jump start, it means your battery is failing, or the terminals are dirty. Not enough volts and amps, to turn the starter motor and supply the system
How do i bleed power steering pump peugheot 307 sw 2006 car petrol
Remove the cap from the fluid reservoir - fill the reservoir to the full mark.
Start the engine and slowly turn the steering wheel full lock left then full lock right. Repeat a few times. Then check the fluid level again.
Turning the steering wheel full lock should allow the fluid to get throughout the system. Any air in the system should vent to atmosphere from the reservoir.
Peugeot 307,1.6 petrol, year 2007.over heating.
Normal thermostat operating temperature is around 80 to 85 degrees so that temperature is a little high. Does she do a lot of short, slower city driving or faster motorway runs.
Have you had the thermostat checked? I'm not sure whether that year uses the traditional type or the newer version with the heat sensor built in. I think it's the newer one. Thermostats are usually the best thing to check first as when they get old they start to fail and they are usually fairly cheap to replace.
If it was the water pump it would be noisy, leaking or both. So it would be worth getting a good mechanic to look at it.
