Are you using an aftermarket key or the original? It may have a chip in it. Also if you have a spare original try it.

Switch is broken internally and needs to be replaced. Happens.

Disconnected positive battery cable

Remove t - handle and the cover there should be a globe underneath the cover.

Look for clips, screws, brackets,etc,and try get all in place, the covers can fit in a specific way. Apply some glue to hold it in place, providing that the cover fits perfectly, if needed to visit the mechanic or bodyshop.

use a code reader to reset the CPU after a battery change as the program sometimes becomes corrupted.

may need to reset your ECU

dont go to mr transmission. I have had to go back 15 times then i finnaly sold the car because they recked it. sounds like a speedo sensor or the sterio installer cut the wrong wire

Try to look for a key hole around number plate or anywhere else, if there's non, bad luck

Causes:
- Harness or connectors (CAN communication line is open or shorted)
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

The service bulletin suggest cleaning engine and body harness ground connection to repair problem.

The dipstick is located in the hardest to reach spot. On the drivers side, under the battery, under a pipe or two you have to find a black dot, that dot is the dipstick. There is no ring or hook to grab it by so pull the black dot out and you'll see that it is about 2 inches long, the 'dipstick' itself is about the size of a thumbnail. We had to use two funnels slid together to be able to put the fluid into that hole. Then dropped the dipstick while trying to put it back in, multiple times. This was the most extremely frustrating routine maintenance I've ever done. I understand now why so many Nissan Versas have transmission problems, no one can maintain them properly. I've attached a photo of what the dipstick actually looks like.
