P0300 is random misfire code P0301 would be cyl # 1 etc. With the odb2 scanner at erase codes turn the engine off. With the key in the run position erase the codes. Run the diagnostics again. If you still have P0300 code Check the plug wires. Loss of compression will cause misfire but it would not be random.

Hello .. As strange as this may sound ,, your brake lights are (most of the time) tied into your signal light switch . Try plugging in on you know is good before buying a new one . It stops your front signal lights from coming on when you apply the brakes since your signal lights usually run on the same wire as the brake lights ....

Sorry to hear that you spent that dough on a possible head gasket issue . Did the mechanic get told about the white smoke ? You will get an OBDII error code on O2 sensors when the motor is burning antifreeze . Nissan should be as long lived as my Subaru sensors being Japanese (still going at 690000 km) Can you connect rad pressure gauge when cold and start up and note if pressure rises relatively fast...should rise slow and steady . Can you get a whiff of exhaust when burning white , sickly sweet smell or such .
