i am sick off my sprinter shuting down on motarways. What can i do to remove engine management

The vehicle enters limp mode. P0643 is a generic code. Sensor reference voltage high. This would indicate a possible wiring issue somewhere. This could be on the electronic throttle module somewhere as it is triggered by using the throttle. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like a simple cheap fix. Look for a mercedes independant commercial garage in your area to have a look at it.

Most cars and trucks can be re-set by disconnecting the negative batery cable for about 10 minutes...this should auto re-set to factory specs...if the light comes back on, you have wired into the wrong system. Hope this helps.

there is a pressure relief valve in the hydraulic pump if you have no or very little pressure being generated , it may be that that valve is jammed in the open position or the spring controlling it has broken in any event the basic problem is that the hydraulic pump is not producing a volume sufficient to build up pressure check the installation of the filter as it may be restricting oil flow to the pump in installed incorrectly

As the vehicle has just had a full service your van shouldn't be suffering those problems and you should return to the repairer and complain bitterly, do a war dance or whatever it takes for them to finish the job and deliver what you paid for. If your Sprinter is fuel injected and catalysed there will be nothing to adjust but you need to know the CO2 content rises as the engine runs more efficiently while it is the CO level that should fall. There are many reasons for poor fuel economy other than high exhaust emissions but after a proper full service the vehicle should already be running as efficiently as possible.

Check engine light on? Any fault codes? If no to these questions then you just have an underpowered truck and you will have to live with it or trade up.

By pushing the alarm button the horn works.
Sometimes the horn worked intermittently so I suspect the wiring/ contacts on the steering wheel?

the fuel gauge works on an electric pulse. if it is unplugged it will go to empty if it is plugged i it will go up as fare as the tank is full. if it goes higher then the known fuel lvl. you have a bad gauge if it goes up and down when you know it is full you have a bad connection

You have to bleed the hydraulic clutch. Easiest way is to reverse bleed...open bleed nipple on slave cylider and pump the fluid into the cylider and the trapped air will vent through the reservoir ( i use an old winscreen washer pump with hose on it)

If you mean it will only start from cold on easy start then check the heater plugs and relay. Don't use easy start for any period because it ruins the engine.

If it the pre 651 engine then this will apply you will have a high pressure fuel pump mounted on the front of the cylinder head, The plastic fuel pipes that feed this pump have " o" rings that deteriorate and let in air causing poor start, The answer is new plastic fuel pipes between the fuel filter and high pressure pump.
