How to change low beam bulb on 1990 Mazda 323 Astina
open the hood at the back of the headlight there will be a cover that has to be removed,on this model i think its easier to remove the headlight unit ,unless you can get your hand in behind it after removing the cover ,then there is a spring clip that needs moving then bulb can be removed the reverse for replacing

This is going to be tough to fix. Chances are its a relay or the ignition module, but until it gets to where it will not start for several minutes or not at all, you won't know if you have fixed it or not.Something is getting hot, cooling off, then getting hot again.

Is the engine showing any signs via the dash that it is overheating? Dash lights? Engine temp gauge pegging out on the red overheat line? If so, then you will have to go further and see if your thermostat is stuck closed, thus needing to replace it. Depending on the age and coolant change schedule (or lack of) you might have to have the radiator professionally cleaned at a radiator shop. Does your heater in the cabin, heat up after the car has been running? Depending on the climate and elevation where you live, make sure you are running the right mix of antifreeze and water. Any auto parts shop should be able to tell you for your make and model (and you can find this online) what mix you should be running.
