Sounds like you have a stuck or broken solenoid at your starter:
Starter solenoid (a kind of relay)
In a car the starter solenoid is part of the starting system. The starter solenoid receives a large electric current from the car battery and a small electric current from the ignition switch. When the ignition switch is turned on the small electric current forces the starter solenoid to close a pair of heavy contacts, thus relaying the large electric current to the starter motor.
Starter solenoids are often visible on the outside of the starter.
- If a starter solenoid receives insufficient power from the battery, it will fail to start the motor, and may produce a rapid 'clicking' or 'clacking' sound. This can be caused by a low or dead battery, by corroded or loose connections in the cable, or by a broken solenoid.
- better to replace the solenoid as this may happen again and again
(for emergency use only you may strongly hit the solenoid with a hammer and a long screwdriver to get the stucked free)

wow no engine stated,?
numbers (serial and rules) vary by your countries laws, we cant guess that here, bet the first ever to post country. shock me.....

why do you ask, ??? must we guess. that too?
some countries, have no engine number at all. (laws)

USA car. "? we do have them. but are only used for "parts buys"
we use, VIN on dash , Exclusively. here. see?
gas engine v6. (my guess., 3.7L )

go to jeep read your countries FSM, open the book and read.
the FSM. on the 3 page of the ENGINE chapter.
just after engine index page is that, on mostly all cars made.
but you dont have the book right?
FSM=-means the official Jeep, factory service manuals. all.

but, in 2008 i see this, in wiki
The iron-block, aluminum-head V6 was the only engine available for 2008.
but witch V6? mines a 3.8L 2008 wrangler,

3.7 EKG exact name for parts

many engines from 2001 to now have no such number.(world wide not here)

i dont have the 3.7L FSM.
net rumor says

service manual says its on the right side of the block near the front
(4.7L yes, for sure,too)

must be on block not the head, (heads move about easy)

here is 1 example of a customer (smart) not look up his market code first, (OMG its a JEEP EXPORT) (a non usa car, made in USA)
and some have no serial at all
and some are in funny places not used in USA>
some countries have specific laws governing , if engine must have a serial and where it must go, making finding it very hard.
but if you look at the whole block, and its not there, then
its not there.

top rear
both sides, look for a flat machined area, (flat) and stamps.
do not read casting marks, none of that is a serial ever.
it will look EMBOSSED stamped, because it was.

is this Parttime 4wd or Awd OR USING LOW RANGE OR LOCK.
we cant guess this.
parttime is not for dry roads, only ice or dirt.
so if using PT or lock, it will complain, and causes, damage.
read the operators guide yet?

these cars come with various, drive line options
state yours. for good answers.

Hi ytabaja97,
Sounds like the thermostat on the hose that goes to the top of the motor is stuck closed, or does not open completely. Try replacing the thermostat. Make sure it is correct for your Jeep, and that the seals on the thermostat housing are replaced correctly.
Hope you have no more overheating problems.

Check if you have electric fans for the radiator as it may be them going in the run position. If the ac is left switched on then when in the run position of the ignition key the fan for the ac condensor may be starting up

it appears that you have an air lock in the coolant system. bleed out the air by loosing of the highest hose until only water comes out or have the system pressure bled at a radiator shop.

My best advice is to move to Florida , however if this is not in your plans then most likely the cold is making the mirror contract, causing it to bind . A replacement mirror unit will solve your issue.

How about #29
If you use a meter you can test fuses in place. If you look at the top of a fuse there are two recessed metal pins one on each side. If you connect the negative lead to a metal part of the frame and the ignition switch is on then touch any of the pins of a fuse with the positive lead, you should see 12 volts on both sides of the fuse. If you can only see it on one side that fuse is blown.
