If you have true 4-wheel drive as opposed to all-wheel drive and you were driving on a dry surface with four wheel drive engaged, you may have "wound up" torque between the front and rear drive trains. This happens because when turning, rear wheels take a shorter route than the front wheels and this difference has to be compensated for either in the transfer case or by slippery or snow covered roads, or it will bind, and the resulting pressure makes moving the selector very hard. You have probably felt this happening ("bucking") to a lesser extent when making tight turns while in 4WD in the past? If this is the case, all you have to do is jack up the front end - and preferably get both front tires off the ground. The jeep should NOT be running. If it was "bound up," this will release the pressure and you will probably see the front wheels spin a bit. You should then be able to move the selector back to the two-wheel or all-wheel drive position. Good luck.

most likely (as seen in my experience), the valves become slightly bent & they don't travel properly within the valve guide, causing the valves to stick open. It will almost appear to be a broken valve spring. I've seen a handful with this problem. The valve sticks open & the cam lobe doesn't even touch the rocker arm, thus "tossing" the rocker out of position.

Yes it could be a wiring problem, the camshaft, or the sync with the crank sensor.

2005, is old, the cop boot are bad too that old boots are $15 each an 10x less than coil + boot. best is replace the, spark is first, cant burn fuel (gas) with bad spark. my guess if you scanned it , you'd see P0300 errors, means all fail. or see P0301 and only coil #1 or boot is bad. or injector #1 is bad. scan it. not scanning the PCM means wild expensive gue$$ing beg,barrow,rent ,buy the tool or get is scanned in any shop USA> most COPs replaced where never bad, HV wires/boots/plugs yes. there are other causes.

• bad engine, (cant be fixed with new cops or injectors)

I say why fear scan tools? the pay for them selves, that first time used, it is now a free scanner.. see how that works? ROI? saved from shop labor saved from THROWN parts not bad..? Do it first . even blown fuses,(o2 sensor fuse blown)???? check fuses.

You do not want spark to coil, but from the coil to the plugs. This could be in the wiring or sensors . Even a theft deterrent on. Connect a scanner and see what you have.

I would investigate for a wiring fault, although you seem to be having problems on a routine time line I expect it is just an intermittent fault, like a loose connection for example

You can't bypass alarms and immobilizers. They are there specifically to stop what you are trying to do. You have to fix the problem, not find a way to beat it. If it drains it, you can attach an ammeter to the battery and pull fuses one at a time and see which fuse circuit is the problem one. Look for the amps dropping. There is always some drain due to certain electrical components being energized all the time like the ECM and the radio, but one will be drawing amps big time.

Is it possible the transfer case is neutral , halfway between 4 WD and 2 WD ? .

The window is falling out of the track when lowered. The tracks have to be adjusted.

You may have an oxygen sensor problem - check for error codes with a code scanner.
