hello
u'd need a proper manual for this in my opinion
like there are plenty of dealers and online shops that deal in those..
you can get some free at reliable-store and it;s actually really illustrative
Get your vehicle checked by a Good mechanic as soon as possible!!!
EBD Translates as 'Electronic Brakeforce Distribution'. This means there is a problem with your brakes or the electronics controlling them. EBD is part of your Antilock Braking System.
It could be as simple as a faulty sensor or something more serious such as a failed brake caliper.
There's a website that has all this information about all this and manuals everything totally free there are many actually but I personally like few .. let me know if u need help
thanks
I take help from online websites that have this service like helping in repair some like reliable-store have instant help.. others are a bit slow which I don't prefer... rest is up to u.. U can also get free manuals
I think the 2006 X Type uses the Ford Duratec diesel engine. This is used in several different vehicles including the Ford Transit. The plugs are usually located on the intake side of the engine. This engine usually has them under the injector rail, tucked behind the intake manifold. You'll need to remove the intake manifold and the EGR unit to get to them.
I've attached a video for the 2.4 Transit engine as the layout is basically the same. Hope this helps.

Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try
I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years
The leaver in the 4 litre is fully electronic, it's just a fancy switch. In the 3 litre it's somewhat mechanical. Ether way it sounds like an electrical problem with sensing the leaver position.
hello
u will find a lot of wiring diagrams and circuit diagrams help books and stuff like this at reliable-store
the girl in the chat box can help u instantly... im a frequent buyer there since Im a mechanic so take help from there
You need to get your vehicle to a good mechanic as this could be almost anything! One of the cylinders isn't firing correctly. This could be a fuel, an air or a spark issue. It will need further investigation. It also suggests there might be a problem with one of the O2 sensors on the exhaust system. I was unable to find a listing for P1317.
P0306 = Cylinder 6 - misfire detected.
P1000 = OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete.
P1314 = Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 2.
P1316 = Misfire Rate Exceeds Emissions.
P1317 = (no code found).
P1647 = Linear O2 Sensor Control Chip (Bank 2).
That would require a detailed procedure so its carried out properly
u can get a manual for help..
I keep getting those for vehicles too.. I know a lot of websites and which one is best for what type of vehicle.
and some are just useless, no customer relationship management..
