My friend spilled water on my G37 seat warmers button. How would i be able to fix them or about how much would they cost me?

Check your fuse first. If not blown, check connector terminals for rusting, corrosion. If ok, need to replace the switch/button.

What is the VEL control module?

An engine control module, or ECM, is a computer component that controls things like the amount of fuel injection or the ignition timing or anything else that helps your vehicle run smoothly and efficiently. If your ECM is starting to have trouble, it might be time to replace it and get your vehicle operating at peak proficiency. -------------------------------------------KTAG K-TAG ECU Programming Tool

2012 g37 worked fine last night; not starting at all now

I would sugest it is to do with the brakes. Check the master cylinder to see if it is empty. You need to find out why the pedal is going to the floor. If parked on concrete look behind all wheels for brake fluid. I think you probably had rapid fluid loss due to broken brake line etc...

My G37 will accelerate to

Hello! There are two Throttle Position Sensors located on the throttle body...One or both are defective...Perform the following test procedure to eliminate...

Wire colors are...White, Black, Red, and Green...Using a volt meter set on the 5 volt or 10 volt scale...With the engine at idle...Locate the TPS sensors..they are mounted to the throttle body...You can identify the sensors by there wire colors...Do not disconnect the plugs on the sensors...Place the negative meter probe on the Black wire and the positive probe on the white lead...At idle you should read less than 1 volt...Slowly increase the rpm's...Don't listen to the engine, watch the meter...As rpm's increase the voltage will rise SMOOTHLY to 4 volts...If the meter skips, or jumps that TPS is defective...

Repeat the test with the positive probe on the Red lead and the negative probe on the Red wire and the negative probe on the Green wire...

again watch for a smooth rise in voltage from less than 1 volt to 4 volts as engine rpm's are increased....

My g37s starts to jolt

Hi there,

Firstly, we need to do a series of Diagnostic Modes, to see if the computer has detected any faults within the transmission.

I will need to ask you to perform a series of procedures (which you can answer at your leisure). Once you provide the answer to the first procedure, I will provide you with the next procedure, and so on. Your answers will determine which procedure we follow next.

Please perform the following procedure and advise outcome:

1. Move gear selector lever into Neutral, start engine and warm it up to normal engine operating temperature
2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and wait 10 seconds
3. Move gear selector lever to "P".
4. Turn ignition switch to ON (do not start)
5. Does O/D OFF indicator lamp come on for about 2 seconds, then turn off?

Please advise....

I will respond within 24hrs of your answer

Scott
