Honda's have the code inside the drivers door frame. There is tire pressures and other data there as well.

Is there a smell of gasoline? My 95 accord had two spark plugs that failed or at least not firing correctly. Change plugs back to old plugs and the problem disappeared.

I would call a Honda dealership first.

Evil works in deceptive ways............. Just kidding, dude. I honestly have never heard of anything like this. Almost gotta be a wiring harness issue. If it were fuse-related, the radio would either work or not. I'm totally puzzled. Let me know when/if you figure it out. Best wishes..... JB

a work around for when you turn the key to the unlock position and alarm goes off. Turn the key back to the lock position. Turn the key back to the unlock position. The alarm should now be disabled. hope it helps a little

Some times this job is just patience and persistence. Make sure you've got all the body panels, sections of wiring harness etc out of the way to make it easier. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!!! Starters use VERY HIGH VOLTAGE! Disconnect the wires from the starter. NOTE these terminals can snap if your too rough. remove the two mounting bolts at the end nearest to you. The motor should slide out. If not wriggle it and GENTLY lever it side to side. It should drop out.

Squealing is from a belt not tighten properly. (Is there sparks from the spark plug wires?) Check the antifreeze level then spark plugs if the engine does not start.

Did not say what year is the Accord. On my 1997 Accord, it was a valve adjustment. Then finally, a new set of spark plugs that finally did the work. Had two incorrect plugs and were firing or had difficulty of firing up.

Check gap on plugs,did you use new o rings on the injectors

If this is any help you need to check the voltage with your meter between the two wire, do not put one lead of your meter to the plug and then the other to a ground, that's not how it works. Again you need to put one lead of you meter to on side of the plug and the other lead in the other, now try you switch up and down you should get at least a 12 volt reading on up and down, they usually have a really that switch the 2 wire so depending on weather you are trying to go up or down determines witch wire has the 12 volts and witch wire is the ground at that time, so if you read between the two wire you should get 12 volts if you don't then ether you switch is bad or there is a bad relay. Or you may have a bad ground, it look like you checked and found that there is 12 volts at the plug you have lost the ground side with in that Circuit So That this is so long I am a talker I hope this helps.

Does the car turn over when you turn the key? If it is not turning over at all then it is not your time belt. You may have unplugged something like the starter wire.

buy a manual; car as the conversion is more trouble that what it is worth especially if you are up grading the engine if you still want to go ahead don't replace just the engine but the engine and transmission as a set plenty of good units from rear ended wrecks
